Reservation and payment procedure

How can I make a booking?
Reservations are made through the website.

You can choose the vehicle that best suits your needs, select the available dates on the calendar that best suit you, add the extras you want and make the payment online.

The process is very simple. In any case, we have 24-hour assistance to answer any questions you may have and, if you prefer, you can make the reservation by calling us or sending us an email.
How is payment made?
At the time of making the reservation you will have to pay 50% of the amount through the secure online payment gateway. At the time of collecting the vehicle, the remaining 50% is paid.
What is the service fee and what does it include?
The service fee is a flat rate that includes:

- An information session in which we will detail how the entire van works and all your doubts will be answered.
- Welcome kit
- Cleaning kit
- Inspection of the van before delivery
- Vehicle disinfection
- Clean water, diesel and other liquid tanks completely full.
- Comprehensive insurance
- Attention and assistance in emergencies and breakdowns 24 hours a day
- Basic camper accessories included in the rental
What happens if I cancel the reservation?
Our refund policy varies depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made.

The amount will be refunded according to the following criteria:
- Cancellation + 60 days in advance: free cancellation
- Cancellation between 30 - 59 days in advance: charge of 25% of the amount
- Cancellation between: 15 - 29 days in advance: charge of 50% of the amount
- Cancellation between 14 - 7 days in advance: charge of 75% of the amount
- Cancellation < 7 days in advance: 100% charge of the amount

*The service fee is non-refundable.
What does the rental include?
Our campers and motorhomes come equipped with everything you need so you can live your adventure comfortably. You will have all the basic accessories included:
- Bicycle carrier
- Kitchen utensils and tableware
- Cleaning kit
- Basic camper accessories kit (wedges, hose, electric cable...)
- Welcome pack
- 24-hour telephone assistance
- Video tutorials

Remember that we have an extensive list of extra elements that you can add to your liking to personalize your experience to the maximum.
What extras can I hire?
We have a complete range of extras to personalize your experience and make it perfect. You can see our list of extras in the description of any of the vehicles or during the reservation process.
When and how is the deposit paid?
The deposit is paid on the day of signing the contract, when we deliver the vehicle to you.

A hold will be placed on your credit card until you return the van and we verify that everything is in order.
Can I modify the reservation once it is confirmed?
If you wish to modify a reservation, please contact us to verify that we can make the changes you wish.
What insurance do I have during the rental?
All our vans have comprehensive insurance with a deductible of €950.

You have the option of contracting a reduction in the insurance excess to €650 for €20/night and with a maximum of €150.

Delivery and return

Vehicle delivery and return schedule
El horario de entrega  es de lunes a viernes de 16:00 a 19:00, y el horario de devolución de lunes a viernes de 09:00 a 12:00.

We offer the option of delivering or returning the vehicle outside these hours upon request. The request will be subject to the availability of the vehicle and may incur an additional charge. 

In low season on Sundays you can return the vehicle in the afternoon at no additional cost.
Where can I pick up the vehicle
Vehicle collection takes place at the UAU Campers offices located in Lloret de Mar.

We also offer the option of delivery to the following locations:
- Girona Airport €40 each way
- Girona AVE Station €40 each way
- Barcelona Airport €120 each way
How camper pickup works
The pickup of the camper will take place at our offices. Together we will review and sign the contract and present you what will be your house on wheels for the next few days.

We will give you a guided tour in which we will see all the functionalities of the camper and we will give you a few tips to take your experience to the highest level.

It must be taken into account that carrying out the entire collection procedure will take us about 45 minutes.
How does returning the camper work?
The return of the camper is carried out at the agreed place and time.

It must be returned with a full fuel tank and empty gray water and toilet tanks. Additionally, the van has to be clean.

Optionally you can hire the cleaning service with which you will not have to worry about cleaning and emptying tanks.

At the time of return you will have to inform us of any damage that may have been caused during the duration of the rental.

Within a period of 48 hours, the UAU Campers team will prepare the return document detailing the status and conditions of the return and a copy will be sent to the tenant by email.
Do you have parking?
Sí, disponemos de parking cubierto interior en nuestras instalaciones donde podéis estacionar vuestro vehículo de forma segura mientras dure el alquiler.

The parking service costs €5 per day with a maximum of €30. For reservations of more than one week, indoor parking is free. 

De todos modos disponemos de parking exterior totalmente gratuito para todo el mundo.

Documentation and basic requirements

What driving license do I need to drive a camper?
To drive our campers you do not need any special license, you can drive them with a class B driving license, which is what you need for a normal car.

It is an essential requirement to have had a B license for 2 years and a minimum age of 25 years to be able to drive the van.
What is the minimum age to drive a camper?
To drive any of our vehicles you must be 25 years old and have had a driving license for 2 years.
Can more than one person drive?
Yes, you can add a second driver who will be covered by the insurance with the same conditions as the main driver with a supplement of €5/day.
How many people can travel in the camper?
Todas nuestras campers Gran Volumen están preparadas para viajar y dormir hasta 4 personas y las autocaravanas hasta 6 personas.

What to do in case of failure?
Our entire fleet is insured with travel assistance in authorized territories.
In the event of any breakdown or anomaly in the vehicle, we must be informed as quickly as possible of what happened.

We have a telephone number available 24 hours a day to offer you the best solution.
Where can I sleep?
In urban areas you can sleep anywhere where parking a camper is not expressly prohibited as long as you are not camping. That is, you will have to live inside the van, without taking objects outside and with the windows, skylights and awnings closed.

When you are in more remote places and in the middle of nature, we recommend that you use common sense and behave civilly and responsibly.

In any case you can always go to campsites or motorhome areas/parking lots where you will surely be welcome.
Where can I drive?
It is allowed to circulate in all the countries that form the green card.

It is expressly prohibited to circulate through countries that are at war or armed conflicts.
Smoking is allowed?
Smoking is NOT allowed inside any of our vehicles for reasons of safety, hygiene and respect for future users.

Likewise, it is also prohibited to light candles inside the vans.

If we detect non-compliance with the rule, we will proceed to sanction as established in our terms and conditions.
What happens if I get a fine?
The amount of fines, penalties and judicial and extrajudicial expenses derived from any infraction that are directed against the vehicle, client or lessor derived from the duration of the rental contract will be assumed by the client.
Can I bring pets?
Yes, we are very pet friendly but keep in mind that there is a €50 supplement. 

We love pets and that you travel with them, but we need to carry out special cleaning, in case the following clients have allergies and so that there are no remains of hair or odors.
How many km can I do during my trip?
All our rates include 250 km per day of rental. Additional kilometers will be charged at a rate of €0.25/km.

If you plan to exceed the figure of 250 km/day, we recommend that you add one of our additional km packs to your reservation:
- 500km pack for €90
- 1000km pack for €175

If you do not take any km pack, the additional km will be paid at €0.25/km.
